Information for people who do not use the CoommunityApp

We may process your name, phone number and/or email address when this information is shared by other users — for example, through the contact sync feature on the CoommunityApp.

This may happen even if you do not have an account or use the platform. In this document, we refer to these people as "Non Users".

The entity responsible for processing your data will be the Coommunity entity responsible for your region. Whenever we use "we", "our" or "Coommunity", we are referring to that entity.

How contact sync works

When a user activates contact sync on the CoommunityApp and grants access to their device's address book, the saved contacts — including names, phone numbers and emails — may be sent to our servers. This process may occur continuously or periodically, and includes both registered users and Non Users.

What information we collect about Non Users

The information we may collect is exclusively what appears in users' address books:

How we use this information

Contact sync is an optional feature that helps users:

Non User information may also be used to strengthen platform security, detect suspicious activity and support internal service improvements.

How long we keep your data

We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the described features, comply with legal obligations and ensure platform security. In certain situations, data may be kept longer, as required by law or legitimate operational need.

Legal basis for processing

The processing of information is based on the legitimate interests of Coommunity — namely to operate, improve and protect the platform — and the legitimate interests of users in connecting with their contacts.

Your rights as a Non User

Even without an account, you have rights under applicable data protection law:

If you object to processing, the situation will be assessed based on several factors. Processing will cease unless there are valid legal grounds for its continuation. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

International data transfers

Due to the global nature of Coommunity's infrastructure, data may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence. Whenever this occurs, appropriate safeguards are applied, such as recognised adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses and additional technical protection measures.

Contact

If you have questions about this notice or the processing of your data, you can contact us through the official channels available on the platform.
