Legal Basis and Objective
This document incorporates guidelines based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic, the Portuguese Penal Code, the Civil Liability Regime, and Law n.º 53/2008 (Combating Cybercrime), among other international norms.
The objective of these standards is to ensure a safe, ethical, legal digital environment that promotes free expression within the limits of social responsibility.
Prohibitions and Serious Violations
It is expressly prohibited, under penalty of civil, criminal, and/or platform expulsion:
- Incitement to Hate and Violence: Content that violates human dignity or incites discrimination based on race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or social status, according to art. 240 of the Penal Code.
- Extremist Discourse or Terrorism: Support or promotion of ideologies that incite violent acts, including neo-Nazi, fascist, or totalitarian propaganda.
- Sexual Exploitation and Non-Consensual Pornography: Inclusion of intimate images without consent, child pornography (art. 176 CP), or digital simulations that exploit minors or characters with the appearance of a minor.
- Bullying, Threats, and Persecution: Moral or digital harassment (stalking), defamation, insult, blackmail, or repeated emotional manipulation against platform members.
- Illegal or Dangerous Content: Disclosure of methods for self-harm, suicide, manufacturing explosives, hacking, deep web, trafficking, or advocacy for drug consumption (art. 25 of Law n.º 15/93).
- Intellectual Property Violation: Copying or redistribution of content without authorization from the holder of copyrights, trademarks, or patents, contrary to the Code of Copyright and Related Rights.
- Privacy Violation and Doxxing: Publication of third parties' personal data, such as phone numbers, location, identification documents, private videos, or bank details.
- Manipulation and Digital Fraud: Creation of fake profiles, bots, scams, spam, financial pyramids, or sale of access and likes in exchange for money or advantage.
Moderation and Application of Sanctions
adopts a hybrid moderation (automated + human) approach, based on the principle of proportionality and contextual evaluation. Consequences may include:
- Formal warning: Sending of educational notification and recording of the infraction.
- Content removal: Summary exclusion of the infringing material.
- Temporary suspension: Interruption of account access or functionalities.
- Permanent closure: Permanent deactivation and blocking of new registration.
- Collaboration with authorities: In cases of crime or imminent risk, data may be provided to the Judicial Police, Public Ministry, or similar entities.
Automatic Content Moderation
Coommunity uses an automatic content moderation system to ensure the safety and well-being of all members. This system analyses texts, images, videos and documents before they are published.
- Texts: Text content is analysed in real time to detect offensive language, hate speech, spam or content that violates community standards.
- Images: All images are automatically checked for adult, violent or inappropriate content. Rejected images are not stored and the user is notified immediately.
- Videos: Videos are analysed frame by frame before being published. Videos with sensitive or inappropriate content are automatically blocked and are not visible to other members.
- PDF Documents: PDF documents are analysed to detect inappropriate content in embedded images. Documents that violate standards are rejected before publication.

User Rights and Due Process
The user has the right to request clarification, contest decisions, and request reanalysis in cases of suspension, blocking, or content exclusion, provided the request is substantiated and respects the deadlines stipulated in the Terms of Use.
Updates and Interpretation
These standards may be updated in accordance with legislative changes or for technical reasons, with the latest version always being sovereign. Final interpretation lies with the
legal team.
Safeguard Clause
These Community Standards do not replace applicable legislation but function as a complementary internal rule. In case of conflict, prevailing Portuguese and European legislation shall take precedence, without prejudice to the powers of judicial and administrative authorities.
